I have a 2011 xb with world racing turbo kit running the AEM FIC preloaded base map it's not install yet but trying to get some help and nobody from the xb2 side had a answer so looking here.

I have the plug in play ecu harnass but the plug that goes to the fic one of the wires came loose orange n black but idk where it goes

Second how do you sync the FIC to the car after installing it the install video says it has to be synced

You'll want the harness diagram. If you Google it, you should be able to find the plug and play harness pin sheet. Crush has one stickied I think? If you google search "scion tc aem fic setup" it should be the first link.

Once you plug that back in, you need to press the "connect" button in the FIC 6 software and assuming the wiring is good, you can select "from FIC" unless you have the tune you want already loaded in the FIC 6 software, then you would select "From PC".

1. Open FIC 6 on laptop
2. Open the calibration file
3. Plug PC into FIC
4. Find and press the button in the FIC 6 software that says "Connect", it should resemble a squiggly line connecting two small boxes.
5. Once the PC verifies connection, it will prompt you to select where to load the tune from. SELECT FROM FIC IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A COPY OF YOUR TUNE!!!
6. You are now connected to the FIC.

Not sure what sort of "sync" you need to do. Maybe update the firmware? I am still running old firmware and need to update it. When you take the car to your tuner, he may find this information helpful as far as the connection process goes. Also, I do believe this information has been provided in other, older, threads.

The guy said before your car will work you have to sync the fic to the vehicle it already has the base map install on it

If it was purchased used with a similar model or engine then you should be able to use the previous tune to limp to the tuner. If it was used on a completely different setup, then you will have to start from scratch I would presume but that's just a guess.
