Tell your friend to do himself a favor and save up more money to get a quality used kit on here to save himself a huge headache of going the ebay route. If he adds another $800 for a total of $1,600 he can get a quality kit on here with everything he needs to be "boost happy" that have good quality components so that his motor will last.

Sounds like your friend doesn't want his new tC to run for very long.

It basically works like this, he can buy a cheap turbo kit and spend loads of time cursing and breaking stuff and possibly ruining his engine, and probably spend a lot of money just to get it to work properly, or he can save up, and buy a proper kit and keep the car running.

take it from me, I have personal and second hand knowledge of what it entails, just get a good complete kit from a reputable company and be done with it. Do not buy garbage off ebay.

also, 350 whp will not last too long, even with a good kit, the car will need stronger parts to put it down.

I would advise your friend to invest in a large bank account if he wants to run that ebay kit.

Otherwise, the alternative would be to consider a full bolt on kit like ours:

I don't think the Greddy kit is avaliable brand new anymore, and it was never very popular. It is kind of a cookie cutter kit from a big name company.

I like Dezod's kits just fine.

He is going to learn the hard way. A good tune can run him 400-600 depending on how much he likes his car and wants it to last.

No fuel, no management, not even a down pipe only the flange to get a custom one made lol.....tell him just dont do it. Just buy nice wheels and tires and enjoy the car running
