Default Break-in period for the S/C??

the literature that comes with the S/C kit doesn't really state anything about that. when i reflashed the ecu i forgot to ask the tech. so is there any break-in at all? or do you guys just start hitting boost right away because its you just cant resist

i would say gradually take it to higher revs over the next 1000 miles to make sure it is running right.

if there is a problem, and you discover under low boost low rpms, it might not do as much damage if you find a problem at max boost at redline.

i remember reading something a while ago about breaking in a turbocharger, and it actually reccomended using mineral oil to break it in. wonder if that would be true of superchargers.

Install it and drive it. dont worry about breaking it in. the reflash is what takes care of it, and incase of a probelm, thats what the warranty is for.
