Default turbo

why should i go with a Dezod? I haven't heard anything bad about tubonetics. Dezod, cracked or detroyed that girls engine who is in the Turbo magazine book and ZPI after hearing that guys story i wouldn't buy from Zpi. I had a bad experience with ZPI as well. I purchased a down pipe and for a month it never came and I keep emailing. I got two emails from them in a months time. I finally had to go through paypal to get my money back. I will never buy from them ever.

First of all, ZPI is basically out of business. Don't buy from them.
With Dezod, i'm not sure what the exact situation is, but didn't they remedy the situation with her? I mean, she has another dezod kit in her new engine.

No. But talking with Dezod or Turbo Toyotas should be able to get you what you need. Why are you interested in a stage 0? Is it just money?
Just remember, "don't boost on a budget"
Whatever you plan on spending in parts, double it.
The ZPI 0 was selling for about $2k, and I got my TT kit for a little over $3k.

No just looking around dont know weather to go s/c or turbo. Plus I have a auto so anything bigger then stage 0 is to much for the car. Always wanted a turbo but herd the s/c is more dependable. Is this true?

The only person I can think of that would say the SC is more dependable is the dealership.
And a smaller stage 1 is fine under 300whp. You just need some tranny stuff, and I think Dezod includes it. Not sure.

DEZOD IS THE WAY TO GO!
If you have any problems they will take care of ya.
Dezods know for what they do best!
I just got my car turboed last weekend by Dezod and it is bad ___! My car is sweet and thats all because of Dezod.
They gave me a great deal, and a good price. Also took there time installing the turbo and made sure the car was perfect and good to go. I actually just ordered more parts from DEZOD and they have kept in touch with me and they provided me great customer satisfaction.
THANKS DEZOD!

wow I wish i lived in arizona coz TT and dezod is there and can have them help you with the install and tune.. One of my biggest prob going turbo is looking for a shop with good experience installing a turbo and second is a good tuner for my tc, prolly the closest ones I can find is san antonio (4hrs away) and houston (6 hrs away).. Or I maybe able to have it installed here but drving that far without a tune?

i think people seriously underestimate the supercharger. There are 3 basic types of superchargers, Roots, Screw, and centrifugal. The TRD supercharger is a centrifugal type. Think of it as the compresser side of the turbo attached directly to the engine (for those who don't know).

As far as power and dependibility goes there are people who will argue only one side with no compromise. I think it really comes down to what you want your car to do, and personal choice.

What do you guys think? Which is a waste of time?
