OK I am thinking that a I have bent valves. I go today but some oil in the chamber let it sit then added a little more and still no compression. And to me the spark plugs all look fine. Just thinking out loud

i just think its rich now cause a valve is bent or stuck and its not compressing to make the chamber fire and think if i had a hole in the piston or messed up rings i should be showing and smelling oil out the tail pipe. just my opinion

 

same thing my car did now im in the process of getting sleeves installed. turned out to be a melted piston but maybe you will get lucky and its just a valve or somethin.

 

did u have a oil on the plugs any oil smell?

 

umm when it happened it sounded like a subi and i had a flashing cel the car then fell on its face, pulled over and tried to rev it a lil bit and then it started smoking like crazy so i killed it. and yea the one cylinder had oil on it.

 

yea i have now smoke or oil i can rev it and it just sounds like its missing but no smoke. we shall find out soon

 

this is the piston. good luck man hopefully yours isnt as bad as mine. i had less than 4000 miles on my motor and since i had it bored from the last time i had it built i had to either sleeve or get a new block so i went ahead and had it sleeved.

 

yea i hope its not to bad my motor was sleeved and built by ERL, and my oil pressure was still good just my A/F was super rich

ok this might be the wrong way but i can't seem to find a leak down tester anywhere except online. so instead of ordering one i was going to set my compressor to 60psi screw it in the chamber] that read nothing at TDC and see if i hear or feel anything. i really don't care about the percentage lost just want to know were the problem is. just want to to know if i should send my other head out to ptuning. so i will post results once the rain calm down.
