sounds like the secondary o2 sensor may be damaged, connectors corroded, too far out of the exhaust stream, or exhaust leak. its my understanding that the e-ultimate doesnt have anything to do with any of the o2 sensors so i assume nothing should be spliced or taping into the o2 wires. in other words ther shouldnt be any extra wires comeing off of the o2 sensor leads running to the managment if im not mistaken. however i havnt played with the e-ultimate so take what iv said about it for a grain of salt.

Don't really have a choice...no one here to tune me, but myself...
So I'm working on tuning it myself...with a good bit of research and advice...and its going pretty good...

crush, that is what i was thinking as well...I;m thinking it is the o2 going bad, because i had an issue with it before...that or it is the rich AFR, as it only comes around when i try to tune, when i go into boost and what not...

Yeah sorry thought i specified it. Its "causing" the idle to bounce around sometimes i do believe. right now I've tried clearing the code...thats about it...I plan on replacing it soon anyways, I'm thinking the wiring is messed up...

Looking to see if anyone had experience with what all it controls...

The emanage is not like the fic, I suggest to just unplug the o2 sensors all together as a starting point (to determine cause of car's symptoms) then reset ECU by disconnecting battery for a minute. I don't run o2 sensors in my car at all other than a wideband af sensor. Unplug the o2 sensors, tune it. Make sure cars runs well with correct afr. Then plug them up, if the tune goes wack the o2 could be bad.

I know you have to take the case off the Ultimate and set the jumper settings correctly for the tC (not the ones on the outside), I see Toan (our tuner) do it all of the time. That could be your issue. Also the maf sensor will max around 5psi so I would suggest pressure sensor for a better tune if you don't have it.

I have seen the idle bounce before and it was the primary o2 bad. Unplug it and see if the idle smoothes out. Tune from there

Sounds good. What codes should I expect without second O2 installed for testing?

I still plan on following the repair manual and checking it with Multimeter to see if its just a bad sensor...like I said I've had problems with it earlier...

And I'm about 95% sure jumpers are set correct, especially since this is a new issue...

I think it is the primary 02 that is causing the bouncy idle. Fuel trims are going back and forth. Unplug primary 1st. Expect code Bank 1 sensor 1 02 circuit low/high output I think.
