Clutch+Flywheel install cost?
 

Hey peeps. Going to be looking around for a shop to install a clutch+flywheel combo very soon and wanna get an idea of what to expect install cost wise. All the F/I people out there, what did it cost you? I'd rather have a shop install it cuz i don't exactly have all the time in the world and i've already done a clutch/flywheel install on my previous civic and i do not wanna go through it again :doh:


I'm expecting ~$500ish



(Will NOT be taking it to the dealership)

$500 sounds about right. Most people I've worked with have been charged about that much.

what clutch and flywheel will you be getting? On a side note what are the best ones out there. Making a list and checking it twice... lol... tis the season.. :rofl:

-Competition Clutch Stage 3 Kevlar
-Competition Clutch 9lb Flywheel

Sound Performance charges 300.00

I had my service dept do it for me...they charged me $400 to do the clutch and flywheel in 1 days time. Id say it would be a WHOLE lot more though if someone off the street came in to do it...man I hate my service dept

$300 for install at most places around here

My local dealer quoted me 1000.00

Yeah that sounds about right for the Miami area as well.
