Wow that sounds like a great price. If this shaft and upgraded bearings solve the problem you may see more superchargers selling. I for one wouldnt mind getting one if it was a solid set-up. Hopefully this helps.

No update yet, snow storm in Chicago today and I didn't get home until after the shop was closed. Will see what i can find out asap.

any word on the shafts yet? Anyone do an inspection on them? check them for truness?

First prototype i got on monday was slightly off. Adjustments have been made and again because of New Year, I have to wait until Friday. Also got a hold of some bearings that are rated at 13500rpm. I have talked with every major bearing manufacturer in the USA and this type of Koyo bearing is the only one that will go up to 13500 without oil. So the bearings vortech supplied are 8000rpm no matter what anyone says, that type of bearing isn't made anywhere in the world above 8000rpm. The new bearings i found have smaller balls and less friction and are WAY cheaper than ceramic. They will be included, pressed on, with the shaft when i have some available for sale.

this is good to hear ill be needing one with new bearings becouse mine are infact wiped out agian

and i have seen bearing speed specs higher than 13.5, although they were hybrid ceramic. |

but again...13.5k max seems low. it will spin much more than this.
