Custom Supercharger Shafts !
#1024
Hi gompka, brand new to the forum and I have an 06 tC with a broken shaft. Looking to find leads on how to acquire a new one. Any help?

Ten years later, my shaft is finally trashed. It's like a needle in a haystack these days. I wish I knew about this forum sooner and I would've bought one just in case. If you have any leads to where any are please hit a sista up.

I could probably still get a batch made, but it requires an order of about 20 for the machine shop to do it and an initial $7-8k upfront. I don't think there is enough interest to make it happen unfortunately. At least not enough people all at once. It's been a while so prices have probably only gone up since then as well

I figured! My xB is in the shop right now, no one really knows what to do with it. If I could actually get a couple decent photos of a proper shaft near the bearings- would be super helpful.
I don't really know what it looked like before so I'm not exactly sure how it is supposed to look. All I know now is that it looks hella beat up.
I'm at a crossroads between getting it machined/welded or if I should buy another supercharger and use it for spare parts. Just depends on the damage of my shaft that I have now.
Who would buy a supercharged xB?

Mr Gompka, could you please re-attach the shaft information, custom information and grease nipple info. The links don't seem to work. Do you happen to have tech drawings of the supercharger shaft and mounts? Have you ever considered making a copy? Looks like with your shafts the supercharger can go for ten years.
