Thanks! Steering wheel is a Personal with a TRD button.

For polishing, I just did some (I think) 2,000 grit sandpaper and then applied some metal polish with a powerball. It's not outstanding but it's a big improvement. I have some before-and-after pics I can post later. I'm sure more time sanding would have gotten a better result.

Guess which O2 sensor was throwing a CEL? haha

Not only was it bad, it was wired wrong! Wonder how well that was working for the previous owner...

Awesome, thanks for the tip. I'm going to show a little love to mine today. I made the mistake of not wiping it down after working on the car one day, so started it up and all my beauty was gone.

Are you using a quick release with the steering wheel?

I think it was this stuff, nothing special:
http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05100-05101_b.html

And I used this tool, it made the process really easy:
http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05141_b.html

I would do some sanding (1000-2000 grit) first, I didn't get that great of result with the polish only.

I will have to give that mothers polish a try. I already bought the Mothers Powerball (cone version).

the clamp force for our cars is overkill. that much clamp force will promote crank walk. The HD series is enough for our car.

No, I was just working on the car one time, and coming in contact with the manifold and forgot to wipe it down before starting the car again.

If you can afford to pull it off for a few days, just get it coated. I had a buddy of mine get my Dezod manifold coated Sterling Silver 1600*F, cost $50. It will be more for a PTuning manifold, and can be more depending on the color and temp rating of the coating.

How does this look for a clutch and flywheel combo?

ACT HDSS clutch:
http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...9&ModelDesc=tC

F1 Racing chromoly flywheel (11.4 lbs):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/F1-RACING-LI...ht_3389wt_1285

The car will be staying at the stock boost level and is a daily driver/street car. Hence the relatively light-duty clutch and medium-weight flywheel.

Why ditch the stock fly wheel?

That's a good clutch I've been running it for 3 or 4 years now. it held over 300tq all day np up until my input shaft seal went and it got gear oil all over it.

I just got this clutch installed last month along with a braided clutch line and a fidanza flywheel; the feel is amazing and I would definitely recommend it.
