Dezod and Turbonetics turbo kit upgrades available
We are offering some upgrade packages for current Dezod S1 and Turbonetics turbo kit owners. We are offering a Competition Turbo Triple Ball Bearing turbo (57 trim/ .63 turbine housing/ stage 5 turbine wheel). They will bolt on in place of the standard journal bearing turbocharger and accept the same flanges and everything.
What is included:
- Competition Turbo Ceramic Triple Ball Bearing turbocharger
- Inlet gasket, downpipe gasket, oil return gasket, wastegate gaskets
- Hardware kit
- Water line kit
Turbochargers come with a one year warranty, they have a built in oil line restrictor to the bearing cartridge so you don't have to worry about sourcing one.
This kit will include all you need to convert to a ball bearing turbo and we are offering it for $1300 shipped to your door.

Dezod, could you further enlighten me as to the difference in performance to be expected from my original Dezod S1 turbonetics turbo?
Mine is blowing significant oil into the compressor side after about 20k miles of faithful full spoolin' service.
How will the power band look? I AutoX & sometimes participate in road track days.
Also do you have a DIY for installing the coolant lines?
I have not installed a water cooled turbo before. What are the benefits of this extra complication? Shorter cool down? Longer life?

This turbo should be able to support 475HP
This turbocharger comes equipped with an oil and water cooled CHRA. The system will include all necessary water lines and proper hook-up with DIY instructions to make it easy as pie for install.
The addition of a triple ball bearing CHRAs increases the amount of heat and cooling capacity needed, which is why these are water cooled as well as oil cooled. These turbos will require the same warm up and cool downs as any other turbo.
The power band will be quite linear much like a supercharger, which might not be the best for an auto-x'r.
Respectively, a smaller stage wheel is smaller in diameter, a larger is larger in diameter. A larger wheel has the capability of moving more air and supporting more power for a given amount of boost.
This is an Innovative Turbo by another name. Comp Turbo spawned off of Innovative Turbo Systems when the company was split off into OEM and Performance Aftermarket. ITS was a founder of some decent technology and made great products.

Sure I suppose. What do you plan on doing then for a downpipe, intercooler pipe hook up, oil feed, oil drain flange, etc. Not to mention fueling needs etc.
The idea of this offer is to offer an upgrade in performance and reliability to the customers that already have similar setups so that they do not have to modify anything. This is a bolt on upgrade that is all.
GT35R's are great if you want to make large power numbers and don't mind some lag. These turbos are more than good for just about anyone running on an FIC and the turbonetics or Dezod S1 kit. These turbos will take care of 95% of the average boosted scion needs. 475 whp is alot and for those that have never HONESTLY been in a FWD car with that kind of power you wouldn't know what to do with it. Most FWD cars are useless above 350 whp without a good LSD, Good engine mounts, good clutch, good suspension and great traction from good tires, not your average ____ty Kumho or pep boys special.
These turbos help you make more use of the boost you are running. More power below the curve faster for the limited rev range that you have. The turbo alone sells for 1595. We are offering a complete kit (in true Dezod fashion) with everything the average Scion owner will need to do this in their driveway with out having to pay a shop to custom fab parts.
Seems like a win win to me for someone looking for a little more power.

This turbo has me interested... not to look selfish or anything but would this be a good fit for my setup, Built, with head work revving to 7k? looking to push 20-24 psi 400-475whp? could this turbo produce more power than the little ___ masterpower 60-1 i have right now?
