Fastest RECORDED times for a S/C'ed tC that I know of...

Went over to the ZPI forum, and stumbled upon these in the Drag/Street Racing sections. These are the Fastest Supercharged tC times that I have seen.

Until you have documented TRACK times, he can not claim that title. He does have the highest documented whp. But that does not equate to him being able to drive it that good. So, we would need to see some track times. Otherwise we would be doing "Hypothetical" speaking....and anyone that knows me...KNOWS I don't do "Hypotheticals". |

The S/C'er with the 14sec flat @ 105 timeslip...
That 105 trap speed is actually a mid 13sec car with better traction. His 60foot was 2.3 so there is Plenty of room and time to be made up. |

I'd rather be S/C and make 200whp and have traction rather be n/a blowing thousands of dollars away to make 160whp or make 260+whp with turbo and have no traction.
Stop knocking the S/C just because you don't like it, it has it's uses and it makes good power for the 6-7psi of boost. Not everybody wants 300whp in a FWD car they drive to work everyday. I know I don't, I just couldn't handle being a really slow n/a car :P |
