Default HELP! Just a few questions for Installing the TRD S/C

ok been installing the trd s/c since yesterday and i have some questions. im not done yet and continuing tommorow afternoon so hopefully these questions can be answered by then, thanks in advance.

im reflashing the ecu on monday but i was wondering is it ok to turn the car on and jus tlet it idol? im not gonna drive it but i wanna just double check the belt to make sure its not slipping, and of course making sure everything else is ok.

the kit comes with a newer and stronger looking pulley bolt. since i can't get the crank pulley bolt off without a GOOD airgun, IS IT OK to drive my car less than a mile to the gas station and have them pound it out and put the new one in for me? this is important because this newer one requires red loctite and also requires to be torqued to 150 lbs. so i dont want to drive it at all but it should be ok right? IMO i dont think there should be an issue its just that TRD seems to replace a lot of the OEM parts / bolts with the new kit, but i could be wrong (most likely)

the oil return line touches the clutch line (actually there is like a gap the size of a hairline)....i havent adjusted it yet to see if it gives a little more clearance but i was just wondering if anyone can show me a pic of theirs? the manual says its important that it should have no interference from the blower all the way to the oil pan. i hope you guys no what area im talking about im just really tired right now (maybe i smelled too much gasoline from removing the injectors) and my manual is buried under a lot of stuff in the garage (me = ).

I would have to say no to all of your questions, Just personal opinion.

Even a little driving and idling is potentially dangerous for your car. Your ECU without the reflash is not going to allow your new fuel injectors to flow properly. By not changing that pulley you are risking breaking the existing one or doing other damage.

I would see what you can do from home, maybe hire a mobile mechanic or go get some better tools.

Just some suggestions and insight, I am no expert

I agree, don't risk something that can be easily fixed another way, though a way that costs more time and maybe more money. Just do it, it's worth it in the end.

as far as running the car without the reflash goes, you will be fine as long as you dont hit boost. The only issue from running the car w/out the reflash is your running stock timing with a supercharger, buti f you never hit boost it will never be a problem

You can run the car up to 3k rpm without the reflash, dont worry about the bolt im using the stock one and no problems here, and I cant help you with the oil line. I would take a picture of mine but my cameras charger is MIA

also i never was able to get a clear answer for this question. i understand that the NST 9.5 pulley is fine with the TRD reflash, but i was wondering is it ok to put it on AFTERWARDS? or do i have to flash it again? because i plan on getting it later down the line.
