Default help please!!!

so I'm on my way to tulsa right now for asylum. and I need to fuel up and the only. thing they had was 90 octane...and I didn't have enough gas to make it to a diff station...

will I be ok till the next time I fuel up if I stay out of boost?

depends on what you are tuned to run on. if your tuned to run on. if your tuned to run on 91 which is what most gas stations carry, you might get away with 90 octane gas. if your tuned for 93 or racing gas or whatever, you are in trouble if you hit boost.

what you should do is just fill up with enough to get to the next gas station to fill up with higher octane. or maybe throw in some octane booster.

but you'll be fine so long as you stay outta boost. there was a really old post by a guy with a turbo tc who's wife filled up with regular, so he drove around town for about 3 hours to drain the tank and refill it with high octane later.

oh, and if you have a boost controller, you can also lower the psi alittle so you don't detonate. team evo did that on bullrun when they couldn't find high octane on a gas stop.

does tulsa have a really high elevation above sea level? i remember reading how some high elevation areas sell lower octane gas because the thin air naturally makes it harder for the gas to detonate. did the other grades of fuel say 85 and 87 or something like that? might be a clue that they all run lower octane gas there because of the elevation.
