Default Help!!!!!! Problem with the front mount

Today I decided to get my brakes changed and my friend jacks the car up from the front where the black mount is and the jack slips off and my front mount landed on top of the jack. Now the front mount has an indent at the bottom close to the middle of the Front Mount.....it looks like it was squashed. Now that's not the only thing on my Turbonetics Kit the bracket on the front mount snapped off so I temporary used tow straps to strap the front mount to the crash bar by the end tanks and now after what happen with the jack issue the straps are now loose. Could this mean my piping is bent? and was raised up? cause before my front mount would sag a little and after this situation it's close to the crash bar than before.

Also with the front mount being bent like that what can happen?

yeah sounds to me like the front mount is basically f'd in the a. at worse the fmi might have a hole in it causing a boost leak. time to get rid of it. then you might just have some of the air passages pinched shut. you will still be able to use it.

when it comes to the bracket, just take it to any automotive shop that can weld aluminum and they should be able to set you up with a new bracket.
