Probably in the wrong section but whatever, i was wondering if anyone knew how much it would be to ship a 2az-fe long block in a pallet from Joliet, IL to Bakersfield, CA? If anyone has shipped a block before? What carriers ship engines? Any info would be appreciated.

 

And what is the weight of the lont block itself. No manifolds no nothing just short block and head and valve cover

 

i bought a short block (no pistons or rods) from dezod and it was about 100 to ship it from them to vista. and it went UPS frieght. long block with internals i would say 150 tops.

 

Yea cuz its gonna be a long block with internals, already assembled. How much was the weight for the short block do u remember?

ummm probably close to 200 and not that i think about it paul sent me a mani at the same time and he said he couldnt ship them together because it put it over the limit

 

Did he ship it UPS ground? Because anythin under 200lbs is considered ground anythin more is freight thats why im asking.
