has anyone done it on any of the kits??? does it work ?? i ve heard of people using c02. nitrous, and water...... very interested if it works..(when i finally decide on my kit to buy that is lol)

 

Just relocate your passenger side windshield washer nozzle to spray the inter-cooler.

Yeah it works but the temp drop is negligable. Also these are used on short burst runs (ie- drag) and not practical for use everyday.

 

I don't think he wants to leave it on all the time. Just when he wants to push it.

i would like to see something like this, but I will be going to the strip so it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep an eye on this thread

 

not really worth it. The boost levels a stock motor Tc really doesn't heat up the core enough to make any measurable difference. Another solution is water injection which is actually a chemical intercooler. THat does lower combustion chamber temps and increases knock threshhold.

 

what type of number would u be looking at with water injection???? more hp or just running more efficient.......................and yea i wasnt lookig to have a constant spray on my intercooler jyst a shot here and there as needed....mt buddy had nitrous that spraye don his mustangs intercooler but h enever used it...
