Miller Syncro 200 or Lincoln 225 tig
 

Hey guys I am looking to purchase a new tig here in the next few days if I could make up my mind. I am looking at either Millers syncrowave 200 and lincolns precision tig 225 as I can get both for the same price. I am looking to use these to build turbo manifolds and down pipes, chromoly cages, aluminum IC piping and exhaust and just mainly fabrication needs as why it is in the forced induction part of the forum. So what do you guys think I will be better off with ?

I wish i could afford a tig...lol

they are both ac/dc i assume.

I wanted a miller cause of all the good reviews.

when did miller come out with the diversion series? thats a tig i can afford!

IMO, Miller welds better aluminum while Lincoln welds Stainless better.

Lincoln 225 TIG Runner. I like it. We used to use a Miller 350, but it was massive overkill what we do regularly.

Yeah. It's kind of dead on that note about stuff like this.

bought the miller syncro 200, ill post some pics of some work, hopefully getting a new scion soon as I am scionless at the momment.
