exactly but see the thing is around here not alot of people see the tC as a car with potential.... they only see it as either A an economical 4 cyl or B a waste of money. They don't see it as a chicks car or something that with even a little bit of work can be clean. Its just a bunch of stuck up children with mom and dad's bank accounts. Mike im serious I want to move to Flordia and then you can play around with my tuning as much as you like I want to be moved down there by at least next spring

Yup they don't understand that the tC motor is a great platform for boosting.

I've had about 5 ppl tell me already that, i will have to rebuild internals and ish before boosting 10psi, I try and explain to them that it doesn't need
a rebuild at that PSI but ppl like to be cocky and underestimate a boosted tC. Which is fine with me because I'll just spank them once I'm tuned =)

For some reason it seems like the majority of younger people who are driving EVO's and STI's dont know crap about cars...they just hear about how fast THIS and THAT car is and they think its the best....

Word son..... They dont care about the tune its all about the number they dont think about tune or power to weight ratio its all about what the number says to who is gonna beat who. To an extent thats true but not all the time, the driver behind the steering wheel is also a big factor, most 16, 17 year old kids that have mom and dad buy them what they want cuz they have good grades... yeah ill tell them to go pound sand im not going to even think about or attempt to race an inexperienced driver and plus i see the aftermaths of those wrecks being a the Captain for my Volly Fire Dept.

 

Thats what im talking about - the track - i do not encourage street racing - especially not if said person's father is a hi-po

 

you are right to an extent the number is true but wat alot of evo and sti driver dont get is that their AWD cars only have the advantage off the line....im not hating on ppl who drive those cars im just hating on the idiots that think their car is the ____ but have not an idea about cars....dont get me wrong tho those cars are great cars those.

 

Well idk about you guys but I'd trade my tC for a EVO 9 all day.. lol
