Just got off the phone with my installer, he said the part should be in tomorrow according to the dealer. If not I'll let you know, appreciate the offer

Although he said he'll check other things if anything else is wrong but he can't start until it's in? Does that make any sense or he can start checking it?

Makes sense that he can't start the car without that part unless he rigs something up

^^^^

Oooh ok, cause he said he wouldn't start double check the wiring on the FIC until he gets the pulsator in. I didn't think you need to have the car running to check up on it

Just got the car back today its running a hell of a lot better.

It's great for DD right now, but when I want to hit boost the clutch still slips bad. If I try and build up into boost it'll go, but I can see it slipping. The car isn't running as rich as before, but I can still smell gas when I leave the car. Hoping to get a new clutch by the end of this month or early next.

Need some help guys. Got the clutch installed and my installer said it won't shift into gear while the car is running, but it can when it's off. He told me the the slave cylinder isn't extending out far enough. I already bought a extended slave cylinder pushrod, but I guess it's not enough? Or is there something else that can be a factor?

Ah ok I'll ask the installer about that... also we tried to start the car, but it wouldn't start while in gear, moved it to neutral and it did. Once the engine was running it wouldn't shift into gear. It feels similar to the safety lock when trying to shift from 5th to reverse.

You just replace the clutch right? In that case, I would look into clutch adjustment. It could be engaging to low and not allowing it to go into gear. Had that issue before. I would look into adjusting the clutch pedal first.

And XrsT emblems? :D

Woulda left 'em red, but they don't match the Xrs red, this is more glossy and the anodized 'rs' red

Well I got the car back this morning, not sure what's could be the problem... but the car seems to be running pretty rich. I'm at a 10.6-11.7 afr while cruising, before the clutch job it was at 13.7-14.7 afr...

Also I hear some sort of metal 'squealing' sound... not sure what it is, can't source where it's coming from. But I'll try and figure it out tomorrow, any ideas also?

Hows the clutch? Did you adjust the clutch pedal?
