ok i want a clutch that will last me a while....idk what to buy....i have 293whp and 302 torque HELP MEEEEEEE (i also beat on the car once a day)

 

i would recomend a stg 4 or stg 5 from Competition clutch or an ACT of equal TQ rating.. the CC i have has great bite!!

i got it from dezod. im very happy with it.

 

cant go wrong with a competition stage 5. thats what i got. 4 puck sprung.

 

my buddy had one and it didnt last long at all

 

sri he had a clutchmasters 6puck sprung it didnt last too long

I have the stage 5 sprung tho.. Im going for 350whp+ so paul recommended the stage 5. Can't wait to see how much bigger my left leg gets..

 

and how long will this last me i heard puck clutches have shorter lives

u need a clutch already ????????? lol dang...i have the trd stage 1 that ive had for 97000 miles and it now just started slipping

 

slips a little im just thinking for the future plus wanna get motor mounts

 

we can do that too..its a bit of a pain but u can trust us uve seen daves car and mine....but yeh let us know when u got the stuff and consider it done

if money isnt an issue, you will be good with a stage 3.. you will have more driveability and less stress on the tranny.. no need to really over kill you clutch, even stock clutch lasts a bit.. although i recommend a stage 4 too, 6 puck sprung.. bites real good, not that bad for daily driving and cost less than a stage 3 :D

 

i think im goin with the stage 4...now my flywheel situation....im just gonna resurface the stock one

 

no way, get a lightweight one! have you ever actually lifted the stock flywheel? it is seriously heavy!

i let kanundrum take my stock flywheel and he was shocked how heavy it was when i let go of the box it was in.

and i mean, if your there, why not replace the flywheel? and add an lsd if you haven't already?

What about a Exedy stage 1 ? you can get that from ptuning for around $300. shipped it's a single plate so it should have good drivability.
