that will get rid of the issue

as long as your AFRs are straight and you keep an eye on your timing under load theres nothing to worry about

i have no issue with taking that route. but from the way this is going im led to believe that i have something else going on man. the only thing that i can think of is that i have an injector thats stuck open. once again, im gonna throw the stockies back in and wait till i either, 1) send these out to get checked, or 2) get my new injectors. theres absolutely no other logical explanation to get the trims that im getting with +20stft and ltft still reading in the -'s. i understand how the cells work in the fuel map as well. i mean hell, ive been messing with this since may.lol. i even went as far as trying to change the injector response time and that didnt work either.

on another note, if i have an injector thats stuck open, that could def explain why i have a sorta lumpy idle. the car will idle fine for a few seconds and then almost sound like it has a misfire for a second, than itll idle normally. i can rule out the fic being bad due to the fact that i was running the stock injectors with it and i had zero issues. looks like its time to toss the stockies back in and lower the boost till i buy new ones or send these out. ill give paul a shout once he gets back from the xmas break.

this is just to give you all an idea as to what im looking at. this is at idle but after being driven for quite sometime. now to my understanding is that ltft's are averages of ur stft, so now riddle me this, if my stft's are consistantly between -+ 10, than how am i getting a ltft at idle of -33.6???

If you had an injector stuck open you would not be driving the car.
Ill look into it more when I get home

in a sense yes...example- ecu reset (no saved trims), upon start up you see a stft of -20 and ltft of 0, after 3min stft has dropped to -17 and ltft has risen to -3, every other second afterward the ltft rises and stft drops till stft is at -3 and ltft is at -17. so the best way i can explain it is the ltft takes place of the stft as long as afr is not erratic. also times will vary on when ltft come up.

ur absolutely right chris, but under normal circumstances, the trims would eventually balance themselves out. my dilemma is that my stft is within range and im still getting a ltft of -20 to -30 while stft is within +-10. for instance, i went to the gas station on my break, my stft & ltft's were normal while driving, when i stopped, the stft were within range and ltft was at -14.4. were gonna see if we can run some tests on it in a few and see if we can figure something out. idk, at this point im at a loss with what else to do.

-14 isnt bad at all really...get it a little closer if you like but thats not bad.
I was thinking that you had a problem like i had where at random I would suddenly get a stft of -40 that would turn into -40 ltft and eventually things would return to normal after a day or so of stft -2 ltft 2 (or 0 and 0 at times). when this happend to me while ltft was at -40 I would unplug the primary to see how the car would react (rule out primary o2 problem), afr dropped to 10. also when this went on (primary o2 plugged in) at times my car at idle would jump in and out of closed loop and sometimes get stuck in open loop till i restart the car.
Iv tuned on the fic for over 3 years now and what was happening to me was the first i had ever seen (in person).

Thats similar to the issue i was havin. One day theyd be on point, the next day they were -30. I hooked it up to out techstream scanner (toyota scanner) and found that the maf readings were jumpin all over the place. I sprayed some brake cleaner on the maf while it was idling and the trims started to lean out almost instantly. Come to find out the oring on the maf wasnt seated correctly. It must of rolled out of position when i put my new charge pipe on. So far so good. Thank god for brake cleaner, or as i like to call it, diag in a can. Lmao
