Default play in turbo bearings ? Rebuild ? How much is 2 much ?

Im looking to get more power so I took off my turbo and the wheel has some play like it's a little bit loose . Turbonetics rebuild is around 450 or more . I just want to know proper way to test and see if it's time for rebuild .

Take it to a shop that rebuilds turbo. The turbo will have a very small amount of play once oil is in it the play should be non existent. All turbos will be different, try to search on manufactures site for the turbo or email them for the specifications on end shaft play.
