its your fuel map...thats why ur unloading in 3rd..tune the NOS timer and lengthen the injector pulse and youll run 9's.
but really, hold down the silver button on the gauge face until it flashes then hold it down again and the needle will move up...
let it swing all the way up and then back down to 0psi and then dont touch it...
what your doing is essentially turning off the alarm

Don't do it that way, do it the right way. While the gauge is on, set the peak warn to around 4PSI. This way it will only beep if you actually lose oil pressue. If you set it to zero, it will never beep.
Also, you can turn the buzzer completely off, so it only blinks. Turn the ignition off, hold the button down, turn the ignition on and keep holding the button down. You'll hear it do the start-up sweep/beep, then the beep will end and it's been disabled.
I have my oil pressure gauge set to 4PSI, and the only time it ever beeps, is if my RPM drops to about 500RPM.
Also, if you don't have constant power going to the gauges, the peak setting will not save, and you'll have to reset it every time you start the car.
