b/c mine dosent have the plastic cap, but the special bolt. are 05-06's liek that?

woops sorry.
its the s/c crank pulley bolt. not the oem crank pulley bolt.
i heard ur suppose to melt off the cap to install the 9.5 but mine dosent have the cap. just a specialized bolt. are 05-06 s/c's like that?

it's not necessarily the year of the s/c. the first couple of batches came with the plastic tamper proof caps that were placed on top of the s/c pulley bolt. after a while, people started bringing it in for warranties without caps. TRD decided to hell with the plastic caps, we'll just stick a special bolt on there. that way, you have to do some extra work in order to change out that pulley.
okay...if you put on a cold air intake with a supercharger, you have to make sure the piping of the intake is the same diameter at the MAF as it was when it was stock, or else it won't get a proper reading, and it will mess up your A/F ratios and you'll run lean.
