Default S/C'd... What to do next?

So, I'm stuck right now with what to do next. I want to put a header on with Jet-Hot 2000 coating but can't get anyone to fab up a heat shield. Already warped one seal with the stock header so I really don't know anymore if heat is the problem. Running an NST pulley for starters. Any info on anyone running a ZPI Stage 1 head? Sounds nice. All the complaints haven't been about quality as far as ZPI goes. How hard is it to swap heads labor wise??? Another thing is some kind of intercooler kit. Don't know if it will make a difference. I'd really like to hear what you all have to say about this.

With Full Exhaust(header,spipe..etc) Emanage, and Meth you can reach upwards to 250whp..

RIPP Mods made 238whp on the stock TRD boost level. You have 9.5psi, you can only imagine your #s then..

i wouldn't recommend the intercooler...i've heard stories on here that they don't do a thing and some actually decrease hp output. Water / methanol injection would probably be better

Make sure you get headers... otherwise meth injection will net you small gains.. been proved on 2 tC's already..

The truth behind that is with the extra added piping it takes to plum in a Intercooler you lose boost, which decreases power, check out kytc's thread for the scoop on that.

what? The ripp mods installation on a stock supercharged tC got to 238HP. That had the stock header on it and they made good numbers. Who proved it doesn't work without a header?

Should be great, will give you a massive amount of TQ that the S/C lacks.

The natural route always seems to be for more power but there are other things you can do as well to make your car a lot more fun to drive and a better performer. Have you already done lighter wheels and sticky tires? How about some weight reduction with more pulley upgrades, a flywheel, maybe a better clutch? An Igall's stiffy and working on the suspension can make the car handle much better and put more of your power to the ground as well.
