Anyone else had a lot of problems with belt squeals? I even just got a couple new idler pulleys (from Vortech), belt tensioner, and new belt. I know it was overboard, but I wanted to "do it right", and it's been two months and it's squealing on cold starts again already. Took it to a mechanic to get an opinion, said "the back of the belt has glazed over". He tossed on a new belt with a textured backside and it's not squealing right now, but kinda worried that it's only a temporary fix. Gave me the old belt back and it doesn't have a single crack - looks new still actually. Thoughts?
