Default Supercharger Hesitation

So, I thought I finally had my s/c running smoothly. It now idles perfectly.

But, after driving it around for a few miles and getting it really warmed up, it hesitates when I give it gas.

I push the gas, it starts to move, pauses, then goes. It kinda makes it lurch a little bit.

The only time it doesn't do it is the first 10 minutes of driving or so.

It's completely stock except for the s/c.

Any ideas?

Could be because of the auto trans. there not the best when it comes to shifting ( performance wise ) on economy cars.

No, it's definitely not because it's an automatic. I've driven a buddy's who has an automatic and it certainly doesn't do this.

Supercharger or not, an automatic isn't supposed to bog down when you accelerate.

Yeah... It's been in and out of the dealership for the past few weeks. They're basically clueless right now. They have no idea why it's doing it. They gave it back to me to drive around for the weekend while they wait for a call back from TRD next week.

I don't think there is such thing as the "manual" reflash, just the engine reflash for all TRD s/c tC's, plus a tranny reflash for auto.

That sucks dude I hope they figure out whats going on! My S/C is giving me problems as well, but not what your experiencing. The dealership is clueless as well with my issue, but I think it is my seals leaking due to heat from my header! Keep us posted on your ride man.

all in your head perhaps? tc's are drive by wire so there is a slight throttle response delay vs. drive by cable cars. i drove my bro's car the other day and the throttle is almost instantaneous compared to the tc.

Is there an echo in here?

Also, drive-by-wire should not have any delay a human could feel. The delay is the heavy flywheel spinning up

OK. So after leaving it at the dealership for a few days, they located and fixed the problem, I think. They said that they found a split in the wastegate hose and repaired it.

They said it was bogging down because I was loosing too much boost, and the injectors were still pumping in a ton of fuel expecting more air but not receiving it.

So, it doesn't hesitate at all anymore. Which is good. Unfortunately, it seems like they may have robbed Peter to pay Paul.

Because, now I have another issue.

There is no longer the "woosh" sound I was hearing around 3000 rpm. It's completely gone. I don't know what else they did, but that isn't right, right? Now, at various rpm between 2000 and 3000, you hear a low moan or howl. Kinda like when you blow across the top of a beer bottle. Someone else on here used the light saber analogy. That's pretty accurate.

Any ideas?
