You can customise the injen intake for better looks and it always help some colder air

that way the s/c intake box get eliminated

I have it that way in my tC

I believe you need a part of your airbox for the s/c install, if you're having the factory put it on. I don't think they'll put the supercharger in with an aftermarket intake, and they probably won't be too happy when they see the header.

EDIT: No, they won't put it on with an aftermarket intake. A CAI will make the TRD-reflashed ECU run too lean. That's why you can't have the TRD CAI if you want the factory s/c.

I hope you're running some kind of ECU management system. Your engine is probably going to blow up soon.

^^^ you need the bottom of your stock airbox. They may not install your s/c with the header pipe - but your exhaust isnt an issue.

You will loose your CAI, but you do know what a s/c does, and why the stock TRD reflash leans out right? It cannot adjust properly to the airflow so the ECU doesnt know what to do. It cannot read from 2 different points at once, and there is too much flux in the air mix.

Umm we gave you one, and we're letting you know about other things that you need to know if you don't want your engine to blow up. I'm going to break this down for you as hard as I possibly can, since you're getting an attitude with people who are otherwise trying to be helpful to you.

Do you need the stock airbox?

Will they install it with your Injen CAI already installed?

Do you want to just put the CAI back on after the supercharger install?
