TURBO, SUPERCHARGER... OR BOTH???
ok so i already know that the turbo will give you 2x power and all that, the charger seems not so impressive, until you mod it. So here it is...if in theory i do get the charger and do the entire turbo setup as far as fmic, ems, and so on could i put the charger in the turbo's place and expect the same results?? As far as I know that trd supercharger can hold up to 400+hp from the vortech background it has. is this at all possible to have that done???

I'm not sure he meant to literally move it to the physical location of where a turbo would go, I think he meant more along the lines of using an intercooler and aftermarket ems and bigger injectors or whatever with the supercharger instead of a turbo. At least I hope thats what he meant. Otherwise, he has no business thinking about super/turbocharging his car.
I read it as he thinks that if you did a complete turbo setup, and made X amount of whp, then turn around an install a S/C'er in place of the turbo that he will be around the same X amount of whp. No where near will you be in the same whp range. And you could have figured this out by searching.
by the time u drop the money into the charger plus accessories and wanting to achieve your 400 or so..You would have gone surpassed the amount for a turbo..SO that should tell u a little something
do a custom twin scroll supercharger...it will have the cool whine...and you will be the first to do so...ive heard that the cobalt ss supercharger should fit nicely...trd supercharger= weaksauce
dude if hes like for sure serious it would not be safe for him to get either done! lol do some research, learn about engines and cars, then come back if u have any questions. we all gotta start somewhere i guess.
so you get the turbo custom or kit... then 300+ estimated hp with a good tune, add the supercharger ***for low end boost and reduced turbo lag*** both at low boost combined why not expect to see impressive numbers
wow problem one is the s/c has more lag than most turbos put on the tc's the amount of money that took to do that setup was isane and that car was suposed to be 700whp but if i recall it only put down like 290whp i know that car was on ebay awhile back for like 20,000 its was a show setup only
Twin-charging with the TRD supercharger most likely will not produce any gains. The s/c will restrict the air flow that the turbo will produce. Twin turbo would work a lot better since turbos can spin freely (compared to a supercharger that spins off of the crank pulley).

Besides, in order to get the s/c to spin fast enough to produce that amount of power, you would have to modify a lot of things, considering there is no way to make a s/c pulley small enough, nor make the crank pulley larger due to clearance. You would have to make a custom multi-pulley setup with an additional belt.

Not a great pic, but you see the extra pulley and belt to drive the s/c.
