Default Turbo tC Boost problem AEM FIC

So, I have a 2006 Scion tC with built bottom end, stock head, custom blow through turbo setup running 13 psi and the AEM FIC. I just got my tune today at TDC Performance in Mobile, AL. and it made 303hp and 306tq at 5900rpm in a few different gears. Everything ran fine on the dyno, boosted smooth, no stumbles or misses or anything other than a weird hiccup around 5900rpm consistently (dont know if thats an issue). After we finalized the tune, we took it down the street to make sure everything was good to go and everytime you try to ease into the throttle and sometimes when floored the car would stumble, miss and sometimes run pig rich 10AFR. Sometimes we were able to completely let off the throttle and punch it after this happens and it would boost perfect like it did on the Dyno. Prior to the Dyno I had installed a brand new primary 02 sensor and new MAF sensor. I was wondering if anybody has had this problem or how I may go about solving this issue? Anymore questions or info needed about setup, let me know, thanks.

Now for some pics

Yeah, I thought it might need the resistor mod but I thought the issues without were a lot more prominent, not just a little blip at 5900? I guess it won't hurt in doing it anyway but any ideas as to why car ran great on Dyno and crappy on the street with the same tune? Like I said, we did 3rd and 4th gear pulls WOT and easing into it and it ran beautifully.

Try clamping the MAF sooner at persay 4.1V

I'm pretty sure we had it clamped at 4.0, Ill double check but any other idea? It does seem like the MAF is the source of the problem. It seems as if its reading too high and throwing us into limp mode when we get into boost. But it only did it on the street, not on the Dyno that's why I'm so confused.

I have the same issue too! I'll run pig rich; only when I get into it quickly though. If I ease in don't have the issue. Already have the resistor mod done. Post up if the resistor mod works for you

That happened to me as well. Modify the MAF, IGN and O2 maps accordingly. Mine was clamped waaayy too soon and would ping rich under heavy throttle.

Only street tuned right now. Went to one shop but they couldn't get pass this problem. Not sure they knew how to tune the tc. Got help from Paul @ Dezod. Hopefully I can get dyno tuned in the next few months. Cashflow problems and all. I hear Vinny Ten in LI is pretty good.

but you ended up getting rid of this problem right? my issue is if im cruising the car stumbles if I give it a little bit of gas like super light on the gas pedal but it will correct itself if I get off the gas and then mash on it

Same thing that happened to me. It is very likely a tune issue. The maps have to be modified to correct the problem. Wish I could help you more than this. What kit do you have? Try contacting them for some help.

Problem is solved. All it took was switching the MAF map to percent inputs, filling in the table with all zeros and clamping the MAF between 3.6 and 4 volts. Runs great! Finally get to enjoy the beast! Hopefully that helps some people out
