It's for show, not everything u put for show its rice. Some people have Carbon Fiber Hoods, does that make the Ricey? Some have a Billet Oil Cap, is that suppose to make them Ricey!? I think the word Rice would be for someone going out of the top, like putting a GT-R badge in your Corolla, now thats ricey... I agree into not turning the tC into a civic, but not everything that calls for attention sometimes is RICE.

But this guys car isn't in a show at the moment.

Neons are pretty much the definition of rice...sorry.

holy thread resurrection batman! Um, well I really have no excuse for not dyno-ing her yet other than that im about $300 away from saving up the $2g's I need to put in the clutch, flywheel, and quaife LSD. That and I have no Idea who has a quality dyno in the milwaukee area....when I do find somebody I'd like to do some engine management as well.

I would wager the 220-230ish to the wheels estimates are spot on.

Thanks to all for the props, yes neons are ricey but meh, the way I see it as long as your ride has the ***** to back it up do whatever.

Point very well made. If someone puts a GT-R badge on a basically stock Celica GT, it is not a racer, but a ricer. If someone lays 200 hp to the wheels in a Celica GT, they've kinda earned the right to put a GT-R badge on. Well, at least a Type R badge anyways (respect the GT-R).

No need, as a daily driver the 9psi pulley with my CAI setup is right at the limits of what the Toyota ecu reflash can handle. Im guessing with an emanaged fuel curve and timings adjusted I dont think it would squeeze more than 10 or 20 more hp out of it at the most, judging by what others have encountered, ie modified mag and their write up on the camcon and SC install.

Yeah, I have that issue. I found it to be pretty JACKED UP! how they couldn't squeeze anymore ponies out of the S/C by tweaking the computer. TRD has a choke hold on that ECU after the reflash. Time to go Piggy back for the S/C boys if they want to squeeze more out.

There are many S/C owners that have all had setups like this... Mr_Lore was one of the first..
I had almost as much as he did before him, but Lore passed me, and then you all know what happened to my S/C.
But I will say that Lores was the first at the time to have everything that he had.
