Default Upgrade TRD Supercharger

Before everyone jumps on me for not searching, I have. I just have not be able to find what I am looking for. I admit I am lazy and was hoping some one could spoon feed me some suggestions.

So, what can you do to upgrade a TRD supercharger? I don't have one installed but I'm just wondering if I'm stuck with the power that comes with it.

if you don't know what a 9.5 lb pulley is then you really need to do some reading... there is only so much you can be spoon fed. Its the pulley on the supercharger

torque damper...not really an upgrade to the S/C but it will get the power to the ground more efficiently. plus your shifts will be smoother.

Ease up gompka. I'm sorry I'm not as privileged as you to know everything there is know about superchargers. I'm just curious about them and was wondering if they could be upgraded, hence the name of the topic.

you need to know the basics like what a pulley is, no one is gonna sit here and lecture you on how everything works. You have to put in your own work and we will help you with other questions you may have. good place to start is the sticky thread on superchargers on the top of the forum.

I know what a pulley is. When he said a 9.5 lb I was thinking of weight not 9.5 psi. Smaller pulley spins the supercharger faster creating more boost. TRD supercharger usually boosts at 7 psi with the pulley it comes with.

did you really search? because i have personally gone through tons of threads about this.

its really simple. i dont even have a supercharger or know alot about it but this is what you can do. also look at the dyno thread.

headerback exhaust
9.5 12 or 14 psi pulley
intake
piggyback with tune
u/d pulley

there you go.

Yeah thats cool, except the U/D pulley will negate what the higher PSI pulley did. Otherwise your spot on.
