vacuum block
having trouble with connecting hoses to the vacuum block just put turbo on now just hoses have to get connected can some help as soon a possible or if they can tell me which hose goes to what thanks.
There are a few ways to configure it. U have to use the vac source frome either ur throttle body or the line off the brake booster. I used the line off the throttle body. Make sure u connect all lines to the vac manifold. So basic rundown of what is running to the vac block is throttle body, vsv valve(other end of line attacthed to throttle body), wastegate, bov, boost gauge and management.
u can do that. i have my wg running to my vac manifold. i tried connecting my wg to my compressor housing, but for some reason i couldnt hit full boost and it felt very sluggish. once i put it back to my vac manifold, i was able to hit full boost and driveability went back to normal.
just me but i try to keep the vsv away from my vac block and its vac source. the vsv even in boost will open and close causeing a pulsing effect, this can throw off readings for your boost gauge and engine managment (if using a map sensor).
I leave the vsv where it is. I run the vac block inline of the brake booster line, then connect all my goodies to it. though I wish I wasnt lazy and tap my compressor cover for my wastegate.
in what way? the only reason that i ran my wg to my vac block is due to the fact the car didnt feel right with my vac line from compressor to wg and it wasnt hitting full boost at all and the car felt really sluggish. for example, i had a 8 psi spring in my wg, and i was only hitting like 3-4 psi. no boost leaks or anything and the car felt like i was tryin to push a building. switched it back the way it was, and the car felt great.
