weapon r oil catch tank

Item Number: 826-116-101
Is this catch tank model specific? There web site has one for the Tc but different web sites show different pictures. If weapon r does make one like they make the coolant over flow does anyone have a pic of it installed? I have searched all over and turned up nothing.

Catch cans aren't model specific unless they have a special mount to fit in a specific place(even then they're still universal). The reason you're getting different sites with different 'Scion tc' catch cans is because they add the car model tag to get links to their product.

Yes I know this, what i'm reffering to is one made specifically for the tc. One that bolts up like the cooolant and power steering tanks. I'm interested in seeing this installed before I purchase.

Well since you didn't link a specific one, and said that there were different pics from different sites, I figured it was just a universal. I didn't know they had a model specific cc for the tc, I'd also like to see this.

Even though it has a model specific tag on it, it looks like you normal catch cans. I got this and will likely sell it because it wasn't what I thought it was. It is a nice can but not what I was looking for.

save your money. The power steering starves unless it is full to the tippy top, the coolant over-flow doesn't siphon back into the system nor comes with anyway to pull coolant back out of the tank. The universal over-flow tank is cool but as you see in my car its just a gimmick as I am N/A and I don't track my car.

i got a weapon r catch can.. i love the way it looks. those tanks are pretty much aesthetic upgrades though unless your car is modified and requires you to change it

This was the one I'm talking about. Haven't seen this on the tc yet. Anyone have this?????

Kanchi 06-08-2010 12:48 AM

That is just a generic picture, it will come as the one already pictured above

AZGuy 06-08-2010 03:36 AM

What he said, those pictures are not accurate.

Do you know this for sure? Did you buy this product with this part #? The cans pictured above are two different styles so I doubt they are the same part #.

GQQSE13 06-09-2010 11:40 AM

hopefully either way it works out as i have the tc specific coolant over flow for them and it definately wasn't made for the tc; i had to make some modifications to get it to fit
