AUX input jack question!
How's everyone doin'? I just recently bought an 06 tC silver streak mica with the AUX jack in the center console of my car. My question is this, can I use this AUX jack for any MP3 player other than an IPOD? I have been trying to use my newly bought Motorola E815 phone with its MP3 capability to be used in this jack, for some reason I cannot get any sound out of my AUX mode in my HU?

that AUX jack is for use with any player with a headphone jack (the iPod capabilities are seperate with an optional head unit and has nothing to do with that AUX jack)
you must have something plugged into the jack before you can select it on the HU. it should work that way. if it doesn't play, you should check your phone if anything's coming out... i wouldn't understand if it isn't working besides the connecter not being plugged in. (it's inside, underneath the cup holders)

Oh, you know what I figured out what was wrong with it
The 3/32" adapter that I had to use for my phone to convert the 1/8" headphone adapter was a mono to a stereo. That was mainly why there was no sound being sent to the HU at all. I figured this all out when I was at work in Radioshack and thought of all possible ways why the AUX input jack was not working with the adapters.
