Default Connecting a line out converter with no plug

I have a 2006 Scion TC and I'm currently trying to connect a line out converter to the stock radio. From what I've read I'm supposed to cut the wires for the rear speakers that attach to the deck and then solder on the line out converter. The only problem I have is I am unsure which plug controls the speakers and which ones are for the rear? If you have ANY advice for me or have done this before it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Also... should I tap it to the front or rear speakers?
