Default Elemental Designs?

hey guys, I have a question. I was thinking about purchasing the elemental designs stealth sub(s) but I really do not know how well they sound being they are in the trunk covered. Also, Do they make one for each side that anyone knows of? Can anyone let me know if they have this, or if they have it in their car and how does it sound? I still want my system but I need trunk space because my baby boy is going to be born, I know most of the time he will be in the car but there will be times when I go out and be able to play my system.

So if there is any other post on here about it, I apologize for duplicating anything, but I haven't seen anything on here yet about em.

Thanks in advance

its a small 10" sub, it wont shake other's windows. if you want something with clean bass to normal listening it should be your choice. nothing to enter competitions with though. ive beeen debating on getting to get more trunk space but im fine with my 11kv.2

well I was only using one kicker cvr 10 and I entered a contest that you were put into different categories, and I ended up taking a trophy but I don't think I will be doing any contests, but I will be attending shows and I think it would be pretty cool to have for that, I just don't know if they do one for each side, I think I am going to give them a call and see what they say.

they don't make one for the left side. from what i've heard that perticular subwoofer/enclosure is mediocre. the problem arrises from the fact that it is covered by the trunk mat, and usually the carpet as well. there have been many people that have also had problems with the subwoofer hitting mat because of its excursion.

take that space and build yourself an amp rack for a standard subwoofer encosure.

they only do the right side. I am sure they could do a custom box for the other side but it will take them awhile.

but eD FTMFW!

The only problem with that wazzu_coug is that I was trying to save trunk space for my stroller for my son that is going to be born on Wednesday, and I have found a box that goes right up behind the back seat and doesn't take up that much trunk space. That way I should have enough trunk space for his stroller. I just thought it would have been nice to have the elemental designs underneath. I kinda figured that it wouldn't sound very nice anyway with it being covered

I had/have one of those ED enclosures and 2 nINE2 amps. They performed flawlessly. Like people have said, it wont shake the windows, but it was great for a nice, mid-level system. Have the stuff just lying around if anyone's...

I have the sq10 in my car and I really like it. Not ground shaking but a nice addition to my ed6000v2's (a few years old). Im running them both off a eD Nine.4 and I have been very happy with the set up. As far as the mat covering it I just put 2 rags between the box and mat and no problems with having things in the trunk. I also mounted my amp behind the rear panel so I have a nice little stealth system. eD customer service has always been grat to me too.

i have the stealth box also. but instead of the sq10 i bought an alpine type r shallow mount and a speaker grill. bumps a lot harder than the sq10 and the grill protects the sub. before the alpine i blew two pioneer shallow mounts just because it was hitting the trunk mat and they couldnt handle the power like the alpine.
