I just got two led strips for under my dash, and I have a few quick questions about installing them. Has anyone hooked them up with a three way switch? Like the dome light... (Door-On-Off) I read a post where someone had done it before, but I can't find it, and it doesn't seem like it went into that much detail. And does anyone have pics of where they installed the lights, and how they mounted them?

Ok, so... I've decided to power my led's from my dome light, and also add a (+) lead from my cubby hole light with a switch in it. My logic is that they will light up every time I open my door, and if I feel like having them on while I'm driving, I can just flip the switch on. Does anyone know if this will this work? The only thing I'm worried about is what will happen if both sources are hot at the same time. They're coming from the same battery, so it all should be good right? If not, I'll install some 12v diodes into both leads. I think that will fix it...

damn Iv really wanted to do the same set up with the lights on a switch so I could have them go on with the doors or switch them off or on while driving. im no electrician tho so im not even going to attempt. if anyone knows a walkthrough let me know
