Grounding wire kits......
I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for.
I wanted to know if there was any preference to which brand to get or where to get one. I wouldn't be able to make one myself. and i would like it to be blue. :lalala: thanks. |
What are you planning to ground.
Easiest/best thing to do would be just measure distances on what you plan on adding wires to and buying that much. Making your own just requires snipping/stripping wire. |
Get some 4/8g speaker wire, cable terminal rings, heat shrink and make your own for like 15 bucks.

the ones that go in the engine bay for the smooth idling and such.
im basically just looking for my next cheap mod. :P |
I made my own, the problem with the kits is the wire is too long, or too short, or they only gave you one of a certain legnth and so on. make your own, its less waste of money
|
I wouldn't know where to start really.
|
honestly, the kit wont make it any easier, I bought a kit for my accord, and only used half of it...the rest was a total waste of money.
I ground the block, re grounded the battery, and I ran a ground wire from the alternator ( I think) I think a voltage stablizer or hyper ground kit by sun auto, or Apexi is a good investment, both are dyno proven to produce 1-2 Hp if that intrests you |
i made my own and honestly can't tell a difference before and after. it made the engine bay look slightly better, but i don't feel it improved anything for me. i used 8 gauge twisted copper with gold terminals.
