head unit removal?

Default head unit removal?

still all factory, ready for some custom sound and i need to get the head unit out. safest way to get it out??

pull off console, 2 phillips screws, 2 10mm bolts, pull out, unhook wiring harnesses, done!

are there and pre outs on the unit?

nope - no pre outs - no nothing. Highly recommend you go with an aftermarket HU - otherwise you need to get a converter (although, you will need a pac converter if you want your steering wheel controls to work).
