Default How to paint dash

Hey guys I was wondering what the best way to paint the dash or part around the radio is. I want to make it all black and was wondering if it was better to just plasti dip it or to sand it all down and spray paint it all. Please reply with your experiences!

I plasti dipped mine. Came out pretty good. I laid it on thick too to give it a little texture. How to paint dash-uploadfromtaptalk1367107243145.jpg

That looks nice! I think I may just remove the panel that goes down over the radio because I have a JVC touch-screen! But may I see the rest of your car it seems like you really know what your doing !

First time using plasti dip was just before this spring on my wheels. So far they've been holding up for over a month second was the dash. And just the other day I did eyelids and blacked out the front end How to paint dash-uploadfromtaptalk1367239125903.jpgHow to paint dash-uploadfromtaptalk1367239175344.jpgHow to paint dash-uploadfromtaptalk1367239197623.jpg

Did you ever remove the stereo cover? Is there a very noticable gap? Because mine wont close over my aftermarket stereo

Ha I mean all I have to do is take the touchscreen out because the face pops out and it'll close so I normally do that when I go out somewhere and lock it up in the glove box.
