I have a 2005 Scion tC with the stock Pioneer radio, it has the SAT button on the right.

I was driving from lunch back to work, in the middle of listening to my iPhone connected through an iSmile Gateway that came with the car, and it automatically switched to radio. I thought nothing of it as I was pulling into the parking. When I leave, I notice I cannot switch to my iPod input when I hit SAT, nothing happens at all.

All other buttons work fine on the HU, if I put a CD in it plays. But when I hit SAT, it does not switch to AUX1/2/IPOD anymore.

I thought it might have to do with the iSimple Gateway plugged in, but when I plgu in my iPhone it charges still?

Anyone have any idea what could cause the SAT Button/iPod input to stop working in the middle of using it? Thanks for any help!

I fixed it just by unplugging the iSimple unit from the HU and plugging it back in, thanks anyway! So nice to hear my own music playing on these speakers again!

Haha. Yeah, just sounds like it came loose or something so it wasn't recognizing that anything was plugged in, hence when it jumped to radio is when your cord lost connection. Nice.

If the factory HU doesn't "sense" the connection present it will lock out those feature buttons.
