didn't i mention in another thread you made to just connect a wire to the switch and then from that wire to the fuse thing?

goodness gracious..

anyway.. tapping into the cig lighter works too..
(black is power, white w/black stripe is negative)

connect red wire from the car's power to the switch.. then power wire of the cathode to the other terminal of the switch..

then ground the cathodes wherever to the chassis.

all you have to do is ground the transformer and connect the red wire which is power to the switch. now with the other connector of the switch you run it to your battery or cig. lighter, i believe the white is negative and black is positive on the cig lighter because i did one not to long ago. or if you can wait i can install it for you since you live in LA and hopefully not far from the san fernando valley and show you what you need to do for whenever you decide to add more.

It depends if you want them to be on when the ignition is off or only on when you have the car on. I forget to turn mine off so I tapped into the cigarette lighter (so the lights turn off when I turn the car off). But on my girls tC I ran a lead off the battery coz she likes having them on when her car is off. It's a real simple install. You will have to drill holes into the cover under the passenger dash for a clean install.
