Hey guys. I just got an iPhone 3G on Friday, and I'd like to hook it up to my car so the music can play through my vehicle speakers. I have the Pioneer AVIC-D2 as my headunit. I'm a n00b at audio adapters. Is there any way to make this happen?

 

any ipod adpater or deck will work.

 

it depends becasue some adaptors dont work because its too small you should hit up walmart and look there

 

most avics you can buy just a cable if it is iPod ready.. and the cable is really cheap. i know the D3 is iPod ready (and the cable is like $30)..

not sure if the D2 can use the same thing or if it needs anything extra

 

it should work. it just won't charge it. at least for the d3 it won't charge.

 

That was a new feature on the D3. For the d2 you need this one...

it's been awhile since i've dealt with the older units.
(gosh.. the D3 is awesome though.. just a nice affordable cable and you're good)
