Memorial Day Install
I decided to take advantage of the time off and build a custom enclosure for my JL 12. It's not done yet but off to a good start. I'll finish it sometime this week.
https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...528071211a.jpg I traced my template https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071213.jpg Then cut it out with MDF 1 inch https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071222.jpg Then made my enclosure https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...528071211b.jpg Checked how it fit. https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071244.jpg Cut out the hole and put it together. https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071328.jpg I used foam to get a air tight seal and trick the speaker into thinking it was in a bigger box then it acutally was. I placed the finished box into the TC. Notice the empty spot to the right. I am going to hinge the other side to that and make it a flip open door so you can see the amp after I mount it. https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071402.jpg Now it's installed just need the hinge, carpet and mount the amps. https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071404.jpg https://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g...0528071531.jpg |
