ITS THE NISMO STYLE WEIGHTED AND ITS REAL NICE I LOVE HOW IT TURNDED OUT THANKS DOC .

The black collar that came with the **** (the part you dremeled) was supposed to replace the chrome piece-- that's why they're the same shape.

As to the ***** comments... umm... wow. OPC.

 

lol ok dude, you need to search "bubble shift ****" then tell us which looks like a *****

 

I have the exact same shift **** with his short shifter. It made a world of difference in the way that transmission feels. I love it. The look is nice.

Does the increased weight make a big difference. I just installed his SS, and have decided to start shopping for *****, but wasn't sure if just doubling the weight would be worth it.

 

Install a weighted ****, remove the linkage counter-weights and put a short throw in, and you'd practically be able to flick it into gear.

 

the **** is weighted and it is a short throw . also new cage alluminum bushings and shifter cables

and i could not get the dremel in that deep soo i played opperation :D
