Default OSRAM LEDs

Maybe Garage1217 or some LED mods can help me...

Found some OSRAM LWT6SC LEDs.

Details:
White PLCC-2
Optical Efficiency: 22 lm/W
Viewing angle: 120
Voltage : 3.0 Min, 3.6 typ, 4.1 Max
Luminosity: 1000 mcd

I plan to use these LEDs for my instrument cluster and HVAC .

Question, will these draw too much power / operate fine like other PLCC-2 LEDs that other sellers use? How about running a resistor to amp up the intensity?

I bought these cuz of the brand name, Osram ;) we all know Osram for quality OEM lighting. hehe

OSRAM for sure is top notch. I used to run OSRAM euro bulbs on my Porsche 944 turbo.

Indeed, I just need to know what kind of resistors and regulator I need to make these work?/....

You can see my guide and it will show you which resistor to use..

You can buy just the resistor and voltage regulator from my web site..

@ LEDMOD, I'm not sure bout the specs (especially typ fwd voltage) on your LEDs are , but I am using the same resistors as on your site, and my osrams still do not appear to be running near the spec typ voltage of 3.7v I will do a voltmeter check soon.

*Edit: I also see various no-name "super white" LEDs that run at 3.3v, and the resistors on your site may work better for that, but I would probably have to go to 270ohm resistors for the maximum output on these Osrams*

If you your LED Is rated for 3.7v you'll need to lower the resistance more so you'll get more current
But 3.7v is pretty high number for PLCC type LED and it will run much hotter....
