Default Pioneer X920BT

Does anyone have this unit as well as own and use an iPhone 3Gs with it ? Reason I ask is because I own the 910BT and while it claims Voice "name" dialing, the feature does not work with the iPhone 3Gs. Im considering selling my 910 and getting the 920 but only if this oversight is addressed on the 920.

Please only comment if you have first hand experience with the 920 and iPhone 3Gs with Voice "name" dialing.

Thanks

Well seeing as the 920 seems to have similar issues that does not speak well for Pioneer. They did not address it on the 910 and did not fix it on the 920. Its sad that Head Units are getting like PCs where the end user becomes the beta tester.

Yes its fixable but will they fix it? The 910bt was released less than a year ago and is already discontinued. They never fixed the issue on it nor did they ever recognize it.

well i was refering to this temp fix...

Are you making sure you are on the map screen when you boot the unit? Do you hit the map OK button on the screen before BT connects? If not, make sure you do that and then report back as to weather that solves the problem.
