Question about reinstalling the dome light assembly

Do those white plugs come out or do I have to maneuver the assembly into there to get it to snap into place.

Try looking at the radar hard-wiring DIY or the auto-dimming mirror DIY. They took out the dome light assembly to tap the wires there.
